Hello!
Welcome to the M&M Embley Blog! The time has come to start a blog... I have been putting this off for a long time so I need to tell myself, "This is it, don't get scared now."
A little intro:
M&M met in high school and started dating in Sept. of 1999.
About Megan: After graduation in 2001 I moved out to the Washington, DC area to experience new things while Mark went to what was known at the time as UVSC. I was actually on the road to DC when the 9/11 attacks happened. It was a very interesting time to come to this area. The intention was to stay for about three months then move back home and start school the next semester. The problem was that I found a job that I liked. At first I worked at a kiddie photo place at the mall while assisting a studio at Bar/Bat Mitzvah's and Weddings. Eventually I started working part time at the studio then I went to full time and quit the other job. They trained me as a portrait photographer. My main photography strengths now are Senior Portraits, Child Portraits and Group Portraits (school class). I moved out of my aunt and uncle's house and went to a house Arlington, VA with some awesome room mates. I LOVED it in Arlington! Mark came out to visit on a couple occasions. One was my birthday 2003. It was then that he proposed to me on the banks of the Potomac River overlooking the DC monuments (what a magical moment!) We set the date based on my work schedule. January of 2004.
